Mud Crusade is an adventure obstacle 5k (3.1 miles) mud race event. It’s a course that will challenge you physically and give you a thrilling experience.  The event allows you to run individually, or run with a group of friends, family, or co-workers. The courses are designed to allow each participant to challenge themselves to their mental and physical limits.

You will have to run, crawl, climb, balance, and slide your way to the finish line.  Our course will take you through water, mud, fire, ropes, barbed wire, tunnels…..those are probably enough hints for you. There will be some obstacles available at only certain venues that are specific to the terrain.  Since this is a mud race event…..think about it…..you are going to get dirty.    Nothing wrong with a little (or maybe a lot) of good, clean, dirty fun !!

Yes.  We recommend skipping any obstacle that you do not believe you can safely complete by going around the obstacle. 

Seriously ?....you can’t swim ?......lessons dude.   No water on any of the courses is deeper than four feet.  All participants have an available route to go around any obstacle they are not comfortable going on or in.

Yes. You must be at least 14 years old to participate in Mud Crusade. You will need parental or guardian approval if you are under 18. You can’t be older than 112 years old to participate.

You will receive an email confirmation of your registration, as well as, important email updates as your race approaches.

You will receive your race packet the day of the race.

You should probably plan to arrive 1 ½ hours before your scheduled race heat.  This will give you time for any unforeseen traffic delays.  Arriving early will also give you time to hydrate, and check out what the vendors are selling or giving away at the event.

That’s the worst idea we’ve ever heard.  We encourage you to bring everyone you can think of along.  Tell them to bring cameras and video recorders too, because this is something you are going to want evidence of. 

No. The post-event party is free for all participants and spectators.

We’re not big fans of people who chicken out, so sorry, no refunds.

Yes.  All transfers must be completed at least three weeks prior to the event.  Contact Customer Service for any transfer requests.

There will be plenty of food and drinks for sale throughout the day.

No. You are not allowed to bring your own food or alcohol on-site.

Anything you want, but unfortunately no streakers. You’re choice really. Any type of running apparel will work just fine.  Any outrageous costume will get the job done too. We suggest trail running shoes or sneakers.  Remember, whatever you wear is going to get a complimentary coat of mud and water placed all over it.

Each venue will have a cleaning station for you to be able to wash off.  Some venues will also have areas where you can change clothes if you desire.

For health & safety reasons, you are not allowed to bring your pets to Mud Crusade.

Yes. We post pictures on our Facebook page from the events.  We encourage you to have spectators take photos and videos of you while you race.  We will post any cool pictures you send to us on either our website, our Facebook page, or YouTube.
